Aroma Beach – The Place to Unwind

Have you ever experienced a great morning view, with a fresh sea breeze lightly touching your skin. Well, it’s just a few minutes ride with a tricycle from downtown to unwind in this beautiful place. A 10 to 15 minute traffic-free tricycle ride is where the Aroma Beach is located.

Aroma beach is located near San Jose Airport so its pretty sure you’ll never miss this view once you visit this beautiful town. Sikatuna beach resort is one of the resort owner and is 5 to 10 minutes ride away from the airport.

    Hi,

    I saw a blog about San Jose Occidental Mindoro. It was quite interesting and then I saw the pictures taken by one of the tourists. Oh my! It was really breath taking! Ang ganda pala ng Mindoro. I just hope anybody here can help me. I am planning to visit this place this coming May 7, 2011 and I need some good tips where I can stay or places I can visit. I would like to know the rate as well. Please, anybody?

    Thank you in advance. My email is lyka.kirsten@yahoo.com

    Lyka,

    I suggest once you land in San Jose, go to the Tourism Office and they will surely assist you while you are still here. You can either choose between the land tour or the island tour. Our hotel rates are very affordable, ranging from P300.00 – P2,500.00. A good hotel room by the sea costs around P800.00 (airconditioned). Hope you and your friends could come. The more the cheaper your expenses will be. You can email me at cyntua@yahoo.com for assistance anytime.

    I feel so glad to read about people appreciating the beauty of Mindoro. My parents bought farmlands in San Jose in the early 50′s. I practically grew up there where I graduated from the Southern Mindoro Academy (now the Divine Word College of San Jose).

    I love San Jose. That is the reason why I went back to the place that came to love so much and now practically living there at Ilin Island, and at Barangay 8. Talking about Aroma Beach, I walk every day and built a kubo where I can relax while enjoying the morning and late afternoon sun. If any tourist to the need needs me, I am at their service to help them explore the beauty that was seen before.

    @Sonny O. Gordovez

    Hello sir sonny gordovez, jay here from makati city, I will be on a solo backpacking trip to San Jose, Mindoro on Nov 18-20, 2011 (hoping for a good weather!) and I would love if you or any other local can accompany me to tour this place. I don’t have any idea of things to do, places to visit, hotels to stay except for a few blogs I read on the internet. I love island hopping activities and beaches. I would gladly appreciate your response or recommend somebody. You can reach me by my email address: jay_agoo@yahoo.com or drop me a text message at 09154899438. Thanks.

    We thought with our experience at the hotel where we made our reservation, that it could be the worst, but when we rented a boat to explore what San Jose,Mindoro has to offer,it was a satisfying experience,. We went to islands such as the “White beach”where we encounter turtles (Pawikan)and took pictures of it, and an island that has the “Cansubong caves” and especially the newly developed “Grace island resort” that has this floating cottages and restaurant, were we experience 1st class service! I just hope the government of Mindoro will support their tourism because it has a lot potentials.
